Ice-Sheet Volumes

The efficiency of the wool liners means that woolcool®boxes need significantly less ice-packs than recommended for EPS or EPE.

Less ice volume gives cost savings of over 60% in ice-packs, more space in the box and reduced delivery costs.

Chilled goods guidelines based on goods packed at 1°C or below:

  • Courier Size 1 - 2 x 250g ice-packs
  • Courier Size 4 - 2 x 500g ice-packs
  • Courier Size 5 - 2 x 500g ice-packs
  • Courier Size 7 - 2 x 250g & 2 x 500g ice-packs
  • Courier Size 9 - 4 x 500g ice-packs

Important - these volumes should be seen as guidelines only. We recommend customers run a trial of the boxes through their own cool-chain.*
