Packing Protocol – Woolcool®

Step one.

Place the first Woolcool® liner vertically inside the box so the base is completely covered.

Ensure the edge of the liner meets the box side – this will help create a strong seal and increase the effectiveness of the boxset.

Rest the excess liner on the open box lid.

Step 1 – Woolcool® Packing Protocol

Step two.

Place the second liner horizontally inside the box.

Each liner is cut to the box side and will allow a slight overlap against the first liner.

When placed correctly, the walls and base of the box should now be covered with Woolcool® liner.

If there are any gaps, adjust or reposition the second liner to create complete coverage.

Step 2 – Woolcool® Packing Protocol

Step three.

Place the recommended number of Woolcool® ice packs (shown in blue) at the base of the Woolcool® box*. Spread evenly on top of the Woolcool® liner.

Depending on the type of items being shipped, you may require a Woolcool® blocker (shown in yellow) to protect your product from thermal shock.

*Please check with your Woolcool® representative to ensure that the optimum ice packs and quantities are being utilised.

Step 3 – Woolcool® Packing Protocol

Step four.

Place your product (shown in red) inside the Woolcool® box and gently push down to remove any excess air from below the Woolcool® ice packs.

Woolcool’s generous loadspace will allow for multiple products inside one boxset.

Ensure there is sufficient space left above the product for Step five.

Step 4 – Woolcool® Packing Protocol

Step five.

If recommended for your solution, place a Woolcool® blocker (shown in yellow) on top of the product before adding another layer of Woolcool® ice packs (shown in blue).

Again, check with your Woolcool® representative to ensure you achieve optimum ice pack usage for the required solution.

Step 5 – Woolcool® Packing Protocol

Step six.

Gather-in the top of the second Woolcool® liner and gently push down on the box contents.

This action helps expel any excess air from within the boxset.

While retaining the gathered liner, fold the first Woolcool® liner over to create a complete thermal barrier.

Tuck the liner’s edge down between the second liner and the box sidewall.

Step 6 – Woolcool® Packing Protocol

Step seven.

Fold over the box side flaps before closing the first lid to secure the contents in place.

Step 7 – Woolcool® Packing Protocol

Step eight.

Lastly, fold over the remaining box lid and secure it with the locking tab.

The finished solution will provide a secure, enclosed thermal barrier ready for transportation.
